What the record proves

- A seal
- Sealed minutes cannot be edited in BoardSync. Each time they are opened they are rebuilt from the stored record and checked against their fingerprint. A mismatch is shown, never hidden.
- A signature
- A signature records that a member agreed to these minutes in BoardSync. It does not verify their identity, and it is not a qualified electronic signature.
- The chain
- Each sealed meeting carries the fingerprint of the one before it, so a gap or a swap in a team’s history can be detected.
